One of the major challenges of the sale of a vineyard outside the family framework is the relationship of trust, of complicity which must be established between the winegrower and the buyer. Like the roots of the vines that have forged their way in the earth over time, it is essential for the winegrower to take the time to meet his successor and to discover him in many ways. This anchoring ensures their sustainability.

Our shelter project emphasizes this point by creating a place of sociability and meeting: a place to share your vision.

This landscape of geometric parallelepipeds, in contrast with the tortuous boulange pines, inspired the shape of our makeshift shelter. These rock formations embody the force of nature, the enduring part of the landscape that remains untamed by man: a place where years count.

The winegrowers work the land to produce wine. As an architect, we propose to use the earth to modulate space and its perception. The materials used for the shelter paint a portrait of its environment using earth (raw and fired) and wood. The shelter offers a simple understanding of measuring the impact of humans on the land: a place of possibilities and metamorphosis.
